When you give an adult a sticker...

When you give an adult a sticker - just like a kid - they are overcome with the desire to prominently display it on SOME thing. Adults are known to even BUY stickers.
I call this the 'sticker book effect.' It is NOT a good idea to place stickers on items that have a potential for resale and will negatively impact the value of your car, moped, laptop, etc. Also not good for paint jobs.
